About Stan
Raised in the hills of West Virginia and now calling Tennessee home, I have spent most of my life drawn to the outdoors. Long before photography entered my life, I found myself fascinated by art, nature, and the quiet beauty of wild places.
Photography began unexpectedly when my wife, Julie, gave me a camera as a wedding gift. What started as curiosity soon became a lifelong passion. Today that passion takes me from the mountains of the American West to the waterfalls, forests, and wildlife of Tennessee and beyond.
My goal is simple: to create photographs that help people reconnect with the beauty, wonder, and peace found in the natural world.
Julie and I have been married for more than 45 years and have been blessed with three children and five grandchildren. Many of my favorite adventures have been shared with her, and her encouragement continues to inspire my work today.
